Phlebotomy Technician Training
Definition:
The Phlebotomist is a valuable member of the health care team responsible for
the collection, processing, and transporting of specimens to the laboratory. The Phlebotomist helps the doctor in treatment and prevention of diseases. Often the Phlebotomist is the patient's only contact with the medical laboratory. Phlebotomy
Technicians must love challanges and responsibilities. They must be accurate, work well with others, work well under pressure and communicate effectively. They must be able to deal with the patients under stress and be able to calm them down. This program meets the needs of students with no prior knowledge or experience in Phlebotomy. It also provides training consisting of hands -on lab training.
The objective of this program is to prepare students with adequate knowledge needed to perform duties and responsibilties of a Phlebotomist, and to prepare them for the following Certification Exams:

Prerequisites:
- Applying students need the consent of the program coordinator
- GED/Highschool Diploma
- Must be able to speak and read English
- Must have an up to date Tetanus Shot
- Must have a valid Drivers license or a State I.D.
Hours:
60 Course / 4 Weeks / 3 Days a week M-W-F
- Day Class is 9:30 A.M. - 2:30P.M
- Night Class is 4 P.M. - 9 P. M.

$1,600 (The cost of the certification Exam is not included in the tuition)

Tuition Fees:
We accept all major credit cards, checks, certified checks, money orders, and cash. A deposit of $300.00 for Registration will hold your seat in the class.
Payment Plans:
At Registration the student must pay $300.00. Fifty percent(50%) of the entire cost must be paid prior to the first day of class. If fifty percent (50%) is not paid in full prior to the first day of class, your seat will be given to someone else. Another twenty-five (25%) must be paid prior to the second (2nd) week of class. The final twenty-five (25%) is due prior to the third week of class. You must comply with this payment schedule to remain in the class. Call ahead about more payment options! We keep our classes small to maintain an appropriate ratio of student to teacher as to allow individual attention as needed.
Inservices:
We provide a Phlebotomy inservice to employees of 5 or more. Call for a Quote!
Schedule:
The next Scheduled Class to start will be on March 22nd, and the students will graduate on April 16th. Call to schedule an appointment to come in and register. The Following Classes will be scheduled for April 26th and end on May 21st. May 31st Thru June 25th.
