CNA Classes Coming Soon!
Definition:   The basic nursing assistant program is a basic study of principles and procedures used by the certified nurse asssistant in long-term care, home health, hospitals, and /or private duty settings, which focuses on basic human needs and care through different life spans.  Integration of skills and concepts are required through hands on experience with a local health care facility. 
 
CNA :Course is 120
    20 Class room days - 4 Weeks - Monday thru Friday
    5 Clinicals on saturdays - at a nursing home with an R.N to supervise.
    Total of 25 Days of school.
 
Days:10A.M - 2P.M.
 
Nights:      4P.M.-8P.M.
 
Cost:$1000 Tuition includes all Fees and Materials and CPR Class.

Upon successful completion of course, students may apply for the Illionois Nurse Assistant Competency Examination.  When the student passes the exam and has been submitted to a criminal background check, the student will be entered into the Illionois Certified Nurse Aid Registry. 
Immunization:Students must have up to date tetanus shot
Students must have started the Hepatitis B Series.
 
Age:Students have to be at least 16 years of age to start this program, and have a parent or guardian sign enrollment forms.  Highschool students must have schools permission.
